First Tour since COVID

I just got back from the LA Phil’s first tour since COVID!  We had a great time playing in two of the greatest halls in the country, Boston’s Symphony Hall, and the iconic Carnegie Hall in New York.  It was truly inspiring to hear the orchestra’s sound in these two acoustically excellent spaces.

You can read the New York Times review of our Carnegie concerts here.

Then we headed for Mexico where we played a concert in the huge Auditorio Nacional in Mexico City and one in the beautifully decorated Teatro Juárez in Guanajuato.  I got to practice my rusty Spanish with some taxi drivers, and I was fascinated  by the unbelievable richness of the artifacts housed at the Anthropology Museum in Mexico city!
